Training is one of the key resources provided by the South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, and its districts. Training is provided for both adult volunteers, known as "scouters", and scout leaders. Both the districts and the council provide training, from Fast Start to week long training sessions.
Guidance for the South Florida Coincil is provided by the council-wide Training Committee, which includes the Training Chairman of each district and chaired by a scouter appointed by the council president.
