 Committee Nominations Minimize
For the Pine Island District, South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America

November 13, 2009

Dear Scouters:

We have now come to the time of year to elect our District Committee members for the Pine Island District.
Our District Annual Meeting is on December 14, 2009 and will take place at Plantation United Methodist Church
located at 1001 NW 70th Avenue. At that time, the Nominating Committee will make their report and their recommendation
for the District Committee Members and District Chairman. A vote will be held to accept the slate as presented.
Those that are eligible to vote include Chartered Organization Representatives, District Committee Members, and Council Members
living within the geographic boundary of the district.

To make this process efficient, we ask that you submit your nominations for the Committee to the District Executive
at the Scout Service Center. Election procedures do not allow us to accept nominations from the floor, so all names
must be submitted by the due date. This time frame allows the Committee to confirm the person’s intent to serve if elected.
Please provide the person’s name, address, phone number, community experience, Scouting experience (if any, not required),
and any other relevant information. All nominations are due by November 30th. Nominations may be submitted via email, mail, or fax.

As the District Executive, I serve as the Secretary to the Nominating Committee, and I can be reached at 954-584-4200, Ext. 242
or ahungler@sfcbsa.org . Thank you for your continued dedication to Scouting and to helping us find strong District Committee
members to help provide support for all of our Scouting units and programs.

In service for Scouting,

Annette Hungler,
Senior District Executive, Pine Island District
Secretary to the Nominating Committee
